Irrigation Technician

Job Description

​

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to install, maintain, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and comfort working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

​

• Install new irrigation systems (trenches, pipe, valves, heads, controllers)

• Diagnose and repair leaks, electrical issues, valves, and coverage problems

• Perform seasonal start-ups, winterizations, and system inspections

• Program and adjust irrigation controllers and smart timers

• Read irrigation plans and follow site specifications

• Communicate clearly with supervisors and document completed work.

• Basic English required

• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean job site​

Qualifications

​​

• Prior irrigation experience required +1 years

• Knowledge of PVC pipe, fittings, valves, wiring, and controllers

• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and water flow issues

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Physically able to lift 50+ lbs and perform manual labor
