Jason Roy

From the sun-drenched shores of Australia to the snowy peaks of Aspen, Jason “JRoy” has been a fixture in the Roaring Fork Valley for over a decade. After moving to Aspen ten years ago, he embraced his new home and is now a proud American citizen.

Jason's passion for the mountains led him to a diverse and impactful career with the Aspen Skiing Company. Starting as an instructor, he quickly progressed to a race director and, more recently, an event manager. His event management expertise extends far beyond the local slopes, with a portfolio that includes prestigious international events like the Alpine World Cup, the X Games, F1 in Vegas, and the World Championship Ironmans.

His impressive resume also features two Summer Olympics: the Sydney 2000 and London 2012 Games. Though his professional life is filled with high-profile events, Jason's greatest joys are his family and friends. When he's not working, you'll find him indulging his huge passion for mountain biking and skiing on the very mountains he helps showcase to the world.
